Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Lead Teacher & Teacher Assistant Join Our Dedicated Team of Early Childhood Educators We are a nurturing, high-quality preschool seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team. We currently have openings for a Lead Teacher and a Teacher Assistant . These roles are vital to fostering a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our young learners.
Position:
Lead Teacher Overview:
The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall educational experience within the classroom. Each classroom is staffed with one Lead Teacher who reports directly to the Director or Office Manager. This position requires leadership, planning, and communication to ensure the holistic development and safety of every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily health checks and take roll calls each morning. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Develop and submit weekly lesson plans to the Director at least two weeks in advance. Implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and philosophy. Observe and assess children's developmental progress. Maintain individual child development records and communicate updates regularly with parents. Facilitate ongoing communication with families through face-to-face conversations, newsletters, and involvement in parent events. Set up and maintain an engaging, safe, and organized classroom environment. Monitor and ensure the health and safety of all children.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Completion of 45 hours of Child Care Facility Training (required). Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is highly preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Position:
Assistant Teacher Overview:
The Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in the daily operation of the classroom and provides direct care and guidance to children. This role involves hands-on interaction, observation, and assistance in both instruction and classroom management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher with instruction, supervision, and classroom activities. Monitor children's engagement and developmental progress. Support a variety of age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development. Help ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and well-organized. Conduct safety inspections of equipment and materials; remove or report hazards. Foster a nurturing, positive atmosphere to help children feel safe and confident.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Completion of 45 hours of Child Care Facility Training (required). CDA credential is highly preferred. Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive demeanor.

$27,040 - $33,272 annually
