Open Arms Preschool is looking for a caring, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team! We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is passionate about providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable caring for infants from 3 months and up. What You'll Do As an Infant Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside our Lead Infant Teachers to provide high-quality care and support throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the daily care and supervision of infants. Feeding infants and following individual feeding schedules. Diapering and maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness. Comforting and soothing infants while responding to their individual needs. Supporting age-appropriate activities, tummy time, sensory experiences, and play. Helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized infant classroom. Following each child's individual care routine and classroom schedule. Communicating positively with families and team members. Assisting with nap routines and maintaining safe sleep practices. Supervising infants at all times and following all Florida licensing regulations. Helping create a warm, nurturing environment where every infant feels safe and loved. Working closely with the Lead Teacher as part of a supportive classroom team. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or school setting. Experience working with infants is strongly preferred . Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening . Reliable transportation. Florida DCF 40-Hour Introductory Child Care Training completed, or willingness to complete it within six months of hire.
