Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary Assistant Teacher to support 4th and 5th-grade students. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for elementary education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children with diverse needs. Duties Assist lead teacher and 1st assistant teacher in reviewing the lessons teacher has presented, including literacy, math Support classroom management efforts by helping maintain a respectful, organized, and safe learning environment Provide individualized support to students when needed and instructed by teacher Help facilitate activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and positive interactions among students Support classroom routines such as attendance, transitions, and classroom organization Communicate effectively with students and teachers Experience Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge in literacy and math for elementary grades Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff Technical proficiency in educational tools or classroom technology is advantageous Join us at Kingswood Montessori Academy to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives!
