In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math activities, and curriculum development tailored for 4-year-olds Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and inclusive environment that encourages cooperation and respectful behavior Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and independence Help with classroom organization, including setting up learning stations and preparing educational materials aligned with Montessori or other early childhood philosophies Monitor children's progress and communicate observations to teachers to inform individualized learning strategies Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education Requirements Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare, private school, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early literacy and math education methods Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and children Ability to follow lesson plans while adapting activities to meet individual needs Experience with classroom management tools and curriculum development is desirable Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey helping young children discover their potential!
