In this energetic role, you will support lead instructors in delivering engaging swim lessons, fostering a positive environment that encourages confidence, skill development, and fun. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help participants achieve their aquatic goals while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop coaching, teaching, and childcare skills within a dynamic health and recreation setting. Responsibilities Assist lead instructors in conducting swimming lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels Support the implementation of lesson plans that incorporate water safety, swimming techniques, and physical activity Supervise participants during swim sessions to ensure safety and proper behavior management Engage children and students with encouraging communication to motivate progress and build confidence Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment by following health club standards Skills Previous lifeguard experience or certification demonstrating water safety knowledge Experience in childcare or working with students in recreational or educational settings Skills in behavior management to foster positive classroom and poolside environments Familiarity with swimming techniques and water safety protocols Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about sports, fitness, and helping others succeed.
