Job Summary Coordinate and monitor undergraduate and graduate admission evaluation forms/applicant files and provide information to Admission committee; monitor status of applicant files and status in People/Soft system, and serve as a resource for students regarding admission requirements and university policies. Assist with the CSWE credentialing documentation and provides program and accreditation assistance to the school director and programs of: undergraduate, graduate and PhD. Creates new student files for applicants from query reports and admissions forms. Provides updated applicant status to the admissions committee to make a decision admissions or denial. Follows up with applicants for missing documents. Prepares Admissions letter to student and secures appropriate signatures. Operates the PantherSoft systems to facilitate access of student information and records for maintenance of admission files and tracking data. Serves as liaison with University Admissions office for students, Coordinator of Student Services and Directors. Maintains student records, including filing, retrieval and check-out to program directors/associate deans. Assists students in all social work degree programs (BSSW, MSW, and PhD in Social Welfare) with questions concerning admission requirements and university, College, and School policies. Participates in new student orientation sessions. Provides general information to students regarding registration. Prepares graduation certifications for students, forwards the certification to the Coordinator of degree program for completion. Secures appropriate signatures and ensures graduation certifications are verified and posted. Follows up on any exceptions immediately. Prepares memos and certificates for students completing certificate programs. Serves as backup to Office Manager for course scheduling, including time blocks, room assignments, course additions and cancellations, instructor of record. Monitors all programs' course enrollments; processes and files class rolls; assists with the SACS credentialing documentation. Provides program and accreditation assistance to the program directors and programs of: undergraduate, graduate and PhD. Provides backup to Office Manager for SOW administration support as liaison with Dean's Office for graduate assistantship contract and scholarships and as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.
