The Childrens Creative Learning Center (CCLC) is currently seeking Student Preschool Teacher Aides to join their team of professionals. This is a position will support staff in working with children ages 2 to 6 in an early childhood setting.

Duties to include:

Assisting classroom teachers with activities including music, movement, art, play time, outdoor motor skills activities. Complete all FIU required trainings within 30 days of employment. Complete First Aid and CPR training within 30 days of employment. Complete Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training within 30 days of employment. Complete Fire Extinguisher Training within 30 days of employment. Complete 24 hours of training mandated by Office of Early Learning Florida training within 90 days of employment. Complete 45 hours of child care training mandated by Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) training within 1 year of employment. Customer service knowledge None to basic level of Microsoft Word. Ability to take direction and work independently as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information. Student Assistant Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated. Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end. The Center is open year-round. Student employees are expected to work during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Semesters and during semester breaks with the exception of 2 weeks in December and 1 week in August. 20 hours per week. $14.00/hour - $14.50/hour Criminal ground Check Criminal background check This student appointment may be subjected to a pre-employment background check.
