Job Description

We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our 2-year-old classroom! This is a full-time position supporting the Lead Teacher in implementing a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. We are a school-first center — we teach, guide, and interact purposefully all day , not just supervise.
Hours:
Monday - Friday from 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily curriculum and activities, you will plan and implement the afternoon activities. Create a safe, loving, and positive classroom environment Maintain active supervision and engage with children throughout the day Foster language development, social skills, and independence Assist with daily routines including diapering, potty training, mealtimes, and transitions Maintain open communication with coworkers and families Help maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
Must have 45 DCF hours (Florida) CDA or related coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred Prior experience working with toddlers is a plus Strong teamwork and communication skills Passion for teaching and a growth mindset
