  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support the preschool and its policies
  • Lead the responsibilities involved in caring for a classroom of children.
  • follow the dress code of the preschool staff.
  • Attend any training sessions, Open house and fundraising events as scheduled by the Administrators.
  • Provide a warm, loving environment with developmentally appropriate activities for each child.
  • Plan and carry out instructions and activities weekly. Prepare lesson plans in advance.
  • Keep communication lines open with parents of the children in order to minister to families that may have needs.
  • Maintain an orderly classroom.
  • Be responsible for the proper use, organization, and cleanness of classroom.
  • Have a genuine love for children and a desire to help both parents and child to adjust to the school experience.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • DCF 45 hours required
  • Lead teaching position requires CDA or in process of completing
  • CPR and First aid

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
