- Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the preschool and its policies
- Lead the responsibilities involved in caring for a classroom of children.
- follow the dress code of the preschool staff.
- Attend any training sessions, Open house and fundraising events as scheduled by the Administrators.
- Provide a warm, loving environment with developmentally appropriate activities for each child.
- Plan and carry out instructions and activities weekly. Prepare lesson plans in advance.
- Keep communication lines open with parents of the children in order to minister to families that may have needs.
- Maintain an orderly classroom.
- Be responsible for the proper use, organization, and cleanness of classroom.
- Have a genuine love for children and a desire to help both parents and child to adjust to the school experience.
- Qualifications and Skills
- DCF 45 hours required
- Lead teaching position requires CDA or in process of completing
- CPR and First aid
