Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom experiences for preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and development in our young students. Duties Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities aligned with curriculum standards. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a respectful learning environment. Provide hands-on childcare, including toddler care and supporting children with diverse needs such as those with autism or disabilities. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning. Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress, document observations, and adapt activities as needed. Engage children in literacy, math, and early childhood development activities to promote foundational skills. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a supportive educational atmosphere. Skills Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting. Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to assist in behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy/mathematics education techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and team members. Technical proficiency in educational tools or software used in preschool environments. Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus.
