Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social-emotional skills tailored to preschool-aged children Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and facilitating age-appropriate activities Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and engagement during play, rest, and meal times Help create an inclusive environment by working effectively with children with autism or disabilities, adapting activities as needed Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials aligned with early childhood education standards such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education techniques Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs, including those on the autism spectrum Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with families Experience in toddler care, Montessori methods, or preschool environments is preferred Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with young learners Join us in shaping bright futures!
