Pay Rate:

Role:
Teacher Assistant Support children (ages 3-5) with special needs in a year-round developmental preschool program. Work as part of an amazing team to make learning exciting. Work as a team to provide a nurturing positive learning environment. Share your own interests and talents.

High School Diploma or GED Must have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with children (preferably children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges) Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen Must be at least 18 years of age. You have the physical abilities to bend, lift, stand, squat, walk, run, balance, reach, kneel, pull, and push while working with children and adolescents. Must provide documented verification of completion of the 40-hour childcare training that is mandated by the state of Florida, if completed any of the coursework or exams. If coursework/exams have not been initiated, must begin this training within 90 days from the date of employment and complete all 45 hours within one year from the date they are hired.
