Student Program Assistant - Division of Student Affairs Florida State University - 4.3 Tallahassee, FL Job Details Full-time From $34,400 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Department Division of Student Affairs Responsibilities The Student Program Assistant supports student-centered initiatives and programs within the Division of Student Affairs departments. Provides direct support to various student focused initiatives that aid in student success. Support cross-functional coordination with campus partners to ensure aligned messaging and smooth program delivery. Assist with coordination and execution of event-day logistics. Update content and perform quality checks to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with program timelines. Assist with development, revision, and organization of pre-orientation modules, including coordination with campus partners for content collection. Help draft, format, and schedule communications as needed (e.g., emails, newsletters, social media posts, digital signage, or print materials). Track engagement metrics and feedback (when available) to report improvements to messaging and materials. Engage student organizations to support activities, including outreach, participation, and communication of expectations. Assist in the recruitment, scheduling, and managing of volunteers (students, staff, and/or community members) to ensure adequate program coverage. Create and maintain volunteer materials. Support recruitment by helping plan outreach strategies and coordinate recruitment events. Assist with interview logistics, including scheduling, candidate communications, and materials preparation. Assist with sponsorship and partnership outreach support, including tracking prospects, maintaining contact lists, and preparing draft communications. Perform functions that support marketing initiatives and assist in managing and maintaining promotional aspects programs and events, including swag and promotional item coordination and inventory tracking, and packing and distribution for programs and events. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience. (
