In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing engaging instructional activities, managing classroom routines, and providing personalized attention to students. Your proactive approach will contribute to creating an inclusive space that promotes literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and overall growth for children at various stages of early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with planning and executing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Work directly with students, including those with disabilities or autism, providing tailored support to meet individual needs. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques. Help with childcare duties such as supervising activities, managing routines, and ensuring student safety at all times. Provide mentoring and tutoring to students who need extra help with reading, writing, or math skills. Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student progress and behavioral observations. Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly valued. Experience in Montessori or private school environments is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Proven ability to work well with children of diverse backgrounds and developmental needs. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a passion for mentoring young learners.
