St. Lawrence Catholic School, Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant for an immediate opening. The Teaching Assistant plays an essential role in fostering academic growth, ensuring student safety, and promoting the mission and values of St. Lawrence Catholic School.

Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional activities and supporting student learning across subject areas Provide small group and individualized academic support under the teacher's direction Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transition times to maintain a safe and orderly environment Perform clerical and organizational duties, including preparing instructional materials, copying, filing, and maintaining student records Support classroom management and contribute to a positive, respectful learning atmosphere Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and administration Model and uphold the mission and values of St. Lawrence Catholic School in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred Established technology skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with students, parents, and school faculty and staff Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Commitment to supporting Catholic education Application Procedures Please complete the online application and electronically submit a current resume with three professional references.
