Additional Job Information Academy of Lake Hills South - Mascotte The Academy of Lake Hills South is a unique public school in Lake County which provides students in grades 6-12 who have Individual Education Plans with a comprehensive education where academic, behavioral and therapeutic services and supports are infused throughout each school day. ALHS provides timely and research based professional development to all staff related to behaviors, crisis response, and teaching diverse learners. Our diverse team of instructional and non-instructional staff work together to provide appropriate and individualized interventions to students. The Teacher - Intensive Support position will be responsible for teaching a small group of female high school students on ACCESS curriculum. The ideal candidate has Florida Certification in ESE K-12 and either already possesses or is willing to obtain certification in Elementary Ed K-6. Prior experience in a school setting working with students with cognitive disabilities, Autism, Life Skills, or similar field is preferred.
