Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our amazing school family in our WPB &Wellington locations! This role offers an exciting opportunity to support early childhood development by creating engaging, nurturing, and inclusive learning environments. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work as a team with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans, foster positive classroom dynamics, and promote the growth of young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help inspire children to explore, learn, and thrive every day.
Role & Responsibilities:
Create a warm, nurturing classroom where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn. Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and other core subjects aligned with developmental milestones. Knowledge of frogstreet curriculum a plus. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional skills, early childhood education principles, and childhood development concepts. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and childcare. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns related to their child's development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in a childcare setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, children, and families. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques that foster a positive learning environment. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners! What You Bring:
School Readiness Pre-Service Training & 45 hours complete
CDA/FCCPC
credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education Preferred. Experience working in a preschool or childcare setting preferred. Patience, creativity, and a passion for Early Childhood Education . Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with fellow teachers and families. Knowledge of best practices in Early Learning and Child Growth and Development . Must meet state licensing requirements, including CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Why Join Us?
