Pre K Assistant Teacher

Little Dude Ranch Academy is a Reggio-inspired preschool in West Palm Beach seeking a passionate and experienced preschool teacher to guide a classroom with intention, creativity, and leadership. We believe children are capable, curious learners. This position is full time and available immediately. This position is to assist in the 3 and 4 year old classroom. Possibility to become a Lead teacher in the fall, if qualified. We are looking for someone with a commitment and dedication to professionalism and excellence. Must have excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and children, be motivated and creative, be reliable and willing to make a long term commitment. Be energetic as well as nurturing and compassionate.

Responsibilities:

Assist in classroom using state approved curriculum Observe and document children's learning Create a calm, beautiful, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with other teachers on school-wide projects Build strong, respectful relationships with families Maintain licensing and safety standards

Requirements:

High School diploma FBI/FDLE/Local Background check

Preservice Training Requirements Physical & TB Screening Preferred:

Successful completion of 45 hour State Requirement courses CDA, CDAE, FCCPC, or higher Previous preschool experience CLASS training
