Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. This role involves working closely with students to facilitate their academic and social development, ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive. Duties Assist in the planning and implementation of lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment conducive to learning. Engage with children in various activities, fostering their curiosity and encouraging exploration through play-based learning. Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and adapt curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs or disabilities. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to lead teachers regarding individual student needs. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with early childhood education principles Experience in special education or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. A background in behavior management techniques will be beneficial for supporting children's emotional and social growth. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom experience will contribute to success in this role.
