Afterschool Program Assistant

Under direct supervision, plan, organize, facilitate, and monitor the activities of elementary aged children enrolled. Monitor and interact with students to keep them engaged in activities. Participate and assist with the activities and homework of children enrolled in the afterschool and summer program, as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support children as they complete their homework assignments Prepare supplies and materials for daily programming Coordinate with supervisor to determine priority tasks weekly Put a behavior system in place for classroom Prepare daily activities for children Direct group activities of students as assigned; assist in monitoring playground activities as assigned Monitor and report behavior of students according to approved procedures Will be asked to work the summer program Supervise tennis lessons with instructor

Afterschool:

M-F from 2:15-5:30
