JOB DESCRIPTION
:
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative support functions/processes for the CSU Nurse Manager and CSU Program. Performs clerical duties, specialized administration functions (i.e. data maintenance, filing system maintenance, transactions, reporting, compiling, etc.).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, screens and directs telephone communications. Greets and/or assists internal or external customers by providing exceptional customer service. Assists, as needed, to schedule appointments for individuals being discharged. Fax discharge information to aftercare referral sources and document external referrals in the EMR. Opens, sorts and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail. Operates office equipment and maintains/orders supplies for the facility. 6. Maintains organization of clinical records and reviews files and records to answer requests for information. 7. Provides clerical support within assigned functional area (i.e. processing transactions, review of applications, scheduling training, scheduling facilities maintenance, and assist with scheduling of staff. 8. Provides general clerical support to the CSU to include such tasks as data entry/maintenance, copying/distributing documents and materials, maintaining record keeping and filing systems, etc. 9. Runs reports and make corrections in the EMR. 10. Manages payroll for the CSU to include entering accurate time sheet information to include writing schedules. 11. Prepares reports as assigned to include monthly Health and Safety reports.
C. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the CSU Nurse Manager/Program Director. Works collaboratively with the CSU Medical Director, Providers, Nursing staff and direct care staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS EXPECTATIONS REGARDING
QUALITY and

WORK:
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft word and excel. Ability to maintain routine clerical records. Ability to maintain and update filing, inventory and mailing system. Follow all SBHS policies and procedures. Present to assigned shift/schedule on time. Present in attire following the CSU dress code. Complete all required annual training courses.
