Primetime Afterschool Site Assistant (Part-Time, Seasonal) Make a difference after school! Position Summary The Primetime Site Assistant works directly with school-age children, leading activities, supporting program operations, and promoting YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This is a part-time position that follows the school-year calendar. Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in daily educational, recreational, and fitness activities Lead small groups of up to 15 children Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming program environment Support positive behavior management and YMCA character development Communicate effectively with families, staff, and school personnel Attend required trainings and staff meetings Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma required; coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred Experience working with children or youth programs preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills Reliable transportation required Why Join the Y?
