This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with students who have a variety of special education needs—ideal for those passionate about providing patient, compassionate support and ready to be a steady, positive presence in the classroom. Your dedication will not go unnoticed as you work alongside educators and other support staff, fostering growth, confidence, and independence in students from now through May 2027. The role is based at a welcoming elementary school environment, where every day you'll inspire and assist young learners to reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
Active GaPSC Paraprofessional Educator Certificate (required) Experience in special education settings or ABA background is highly valued Comfort with and ready to assist students who may require help with toileting or adaptive needs Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students with disabilities Team-oriented communicator with a passion for inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support within self-contained resource classrooms Assist with instructional activities as directed by classroom teachers Aid students requiring additional care, including those with toileting needs Implement strategies to encourage student engagement, growth, and positive social skills Track progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents as needed Start creating lasting impact in a nurturing setting where your efforts are valued.
