Assistant Teacher 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will support classroom activities and help create a nurturing, engaging environment for young learners. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and overall curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through engaging activities Help supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and other routines to ensure safety and well-being Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, preschool exercises, and Montessori-inspired methods Work with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, providing individualized support as needed Assist in maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress and classroom events Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles such as Montessori methods or behavior management techniques Experience with lesson planning for young learners across literacy, math, and developmental milestones Familiarity with working with children with special needs or disabilities to support inclusive learning environments Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Classroom experience managing young children in a structured yet flexible setting Demonstrated ability to implement curriculum development strategies that foster growth in early childhood stages Join us in creating a joyful learning atmosphere where every child feels valued and inspired!
