Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher or Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. This role involves supporting classroom instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting with curriculum implementation across various age groups. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a passion for early childhood education, and skills in classroom management and behavior support. Candidates with backgrounds in special education, Montessori methods, or working with children with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Duties Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education principles Support classroom management to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Provide individualized attention and support for students with special needs, including those with autism or other disabilities Facilitate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and behavioral management Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding behavioral or developmental concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces Support the implementation of specialized curricula such as Montessori or other progressive educational approaches Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning readiness Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is preferred Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including behavior management strategies Experience with special education or working with children with autism or disabilities is advantageous Classroom experience involving lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with early childhood education standards and best practices in literacy education, math instruction, and toddler care Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students Experience working within Montessori or other specialized educational frameworks is a plus This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education who are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages growth and development for all students.
