Job Description

SHIFT:
9am-6pm (Monday-Friday)

! Kiddie Academy of Kennesaw is looking to build a new team! Come work in a brand new, state-of-the art building with a staff lounge! We are looking for enthusiastic teachers at all experience levels who are dedicated to improving the lives of the children in our community.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for students
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young learners
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Skills:
  • Experience working with children in a daycare setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to teach basic math, literacy, and other foundational skills
  • Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines
  • Passion for educating young children and fostering their love of learning
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Ability to develop engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
Required Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED(Required) CDA, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree (or working toward achieving) in Early Childhood Education or related field Experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers and commitment to nurturing their development Meet Georgia state licensing requirements for EEC professional qualifications Be at least 18 years of age Candidates must pass a state and company background check
