Berry College seeks an organized and efficient administrative assistant who will support the Departments of Teacher Education and Psychological Science in the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences serving as the point of contact for both departments. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and collegial with knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office suite of programs and an appreciation of Berry's mission and values .Key responsibilities will include:
Assist department chairs with preparing meeting agendas and minutes, annual faculty evaluations, departmental annual reports, and data collection for institutional and program assessments. Assist faculty with preparing instructional materials and facilitate purchases including supply orders and other payments related to school functions. Provide administrative support to department chairs and faculty members, including maintaining records, budgets, and databases; editing documents; drafting reports; and attending departmental meetings. Supervise departmental student workers, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating them, and serve as a secondary supervisor for faculty assistant student workers. Maintain departmental forms and records, including, advisement sheets, course schedules, and spreadsheets. Assist with planning, setup, and cleanup for departmental events involving internal and external groups. Assist with new faculty searches and hiring processes.ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS

Ideal candidates will have at least four years, combined, of college education and/or experience in an office setting. A bachelor's degree is preferred.Additional Information:
