In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional growth, and support the diverse needs of young learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop self-regulation skills Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and emotional growth, including toddler care and Montessori-inspired methods Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that supports early childhood development and childcare best practices Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, providing individualized support as directed by the lead teacher Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to education and care Assist in classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play while fostering independence and social skills Experience Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and behavior management strategies Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education for preschool-aged children Familiarity with classroom management techniques and working with individuals with disabilities or special needs Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with families Previous private school or Montessori classroom experience is a plus Join us to inspire young minds in a dynamic environment where your passion for teaching makes a difference!
