Job Description
The Paraeducator provides instructional, behavioral, and supervisory support to students under the direct supervision of a licensed teacher. The paraeducator assists in creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment by supporting student achievement, reinforcing classroom instruction, and promoting positive behavior while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Paraeducators may be assigned to general education classrooms, special education classrooms, or other student support programs based on district needs.
