Bettendorf Community School District is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our elementary school team.
Position:
Elementary Paraeducator
Location:
Bettendorf Community School District
Hours:
Up to 5.75 hours/day
Rate of Pay:
$19.42/hour
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students in a school setting
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, and maintain confidentiality while remaining calm Courteous and professional when interacting with students, staff, and the public Ability to provide instruction based on lesson plans and assist individual students in comprehending concepts Effective communication skills with students, teachers, staff, and sometimes parents Willingness to participate in additional professional development outside regular work hours High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.
