Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for students. A CDA at minimum is
REQUIRED
- : •Teachers without a CDA, Paraeducator certification, or proper education requirements will not be considered for this position.
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Assist in conducting assessments and maintaining student records
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Utilize behavior management techniques effectively
- Engage students in interactive learning activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the educational program Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with Project Based Learning or other progressive teaching methodologies
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Experience in classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of GOLD assessments a plus
