What they do
A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person who would like to teach and care for young children! Shifts available 2:30
•3:30 pm
•6:00 pm Monday through Friday No Weekends!
Pay:
$12
•$16, depending on experience
TEACHING
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. General everyday cleanup after activities and snack and complete cleanup check list at the end of the night. Treat children with compassion, dignity and respect. Communicate in a professional manner with parent, staff and management. Establish a positive image as a role model for our children and families. Responsible for a nightly chore around the center and help on assigned laundry day. Dress in a professional service manner. Follows all Little Endeavors policies. Respect the policy of the children and family's confidentiality.
CO-WORKERS
Strive to assume a fair share of work. Is tactful with negative information. Maintain communication with morning staff. Maintain communication with the director. Approach criticism with a learning attitude. Come to work with a positive attitude. Is friendly and respectful. Looks for ways to be helpful around the center. Is flexible when needed around the center by the director.
