Job Description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Paraprofessional to support children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. In this role, you will assist in implementing behavior and education plans, provide one-on-one and small-group support, and help maintain a structured, therapeutic classroom environment. You will collect behavioral and academic data, collaborate with teachers and clinicians, and participate in training focused on evidence-based, student-centered care in a mission-driven setting. Responsibilities Provide direct support to children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges in school and clinic settings. Implement behavior intervention and treatment plans under the supervision of clinicians and teachers. Collect, record, and report behavioral and academic data accurately and consistently. Assist with classroom management, instructional activities, and individualized accommodations. Support safe, structured learning environments using de-escalation and reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support each student's goals. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development on evidence-based practices. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines at all times.
