Starting Pay:
$16.25/hour Must have, or be willing to obtain the following: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, Paraeducator Certificate (Early Childhood emphasis), CDA Credential, or 2 years of college Position Summary The Preschool Paraeducator works alongside and under the direct supervision of a licensed Early Childhood Educator to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for preschool-aged children. This role focuses on supporting the academic, social-emotional, and physical development of young learners in alignment with the Iowa Early Learning Standards (IELS) and Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards (IQPPS).
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding student and family information in compliance with FERPA. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within an educational team and build respectful relationships with diverse families
