Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of preschool children while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development Help supervise children during play, meal times, and transitions throughout the day Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and classroom events with the guidance of the lead teacher. Support classroom setup, materials preparation, and cleanup to ensure a smooth daily routine Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Certification in childcare or early childhood education is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to support diverse learners including toddlers and preschool-aged children in various educational settings.
