Job Description

at Mountain View Joint School District - No. 244 in Kooskia, Idaho, United States Job Description The General Special Education Paraprofessional is a full time at-will position located at the Clearwater Valley Jr/Sr High School, Kooskia, Idaho. Position requires applicant to have at least 2 years of experience in a related field of handling children in an elementary setting. Position requires applicant to have 32 college credits in an educational field to be a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional, OR the ability to become a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional before the first day of employment, or no later than 30 days after date of hire, by taking & passing the Paraprofessional Praxis exam. Provide unofficial college/university transcripts as proof of Highly Qualified credits. Must be submitted to the District Office upon date of hire. OR Provide proof (copy) of Paraprofessional Praxis exam to the District Office at time of hire and no later than 14 days after date of hire. Must meet job requirements of Clearwater Valley School District #245. Background record check must be completed upon date of hire. Must be completed and turned into the District Office to begin working. Employee benefits include medical, vision, prescription, dental, life and retirement. Plus, paid sick leave and personal leave.
