Position Summary:
The Program Director/Instructor for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program provides dynamic leadership in teaching, program administration, clinical partnership development, and student success. This role combines hands-on instruction with strategic program oversight to ensure students graduate career-ready while maintaining excellence in accreditation, curriculum innovation, and community healthcare partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver High-Impact Occupational Therapy Education + Teach and evaluate Occupational Therapy Assistant coursework using engaging, student-centered instructional practices. + Develop learning experiences that support diverse learning styles and promote student achievement and persistence. + Provide academic advising, mentorship, and timely feedback to help students succeed academically and professionally. + Maintain accurate student records, grading, and instructional documentation in compliance with college standards. Lead and Advance the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program + Provide administrative leadership for the OTA program, including curriculum oversight, strategic planning, and continuous program improvement. + Ensure ongoing compliance with Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) standards and accreditation requirements. + Develop, maintain, and manage clinical affiliation agreements, records, and documentation related to clinical education activities. + Support program growth through collaboration with faculty, administrators, and external healthcare partners. Build Strong Clinical and Industry Partnerships + Cultivate and maintain relationships with clinical sites, healthcare organizations, and industry professionals to expand student learning opportunities. + Coordinate clinic
