Were seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to start as soon as possible, working full-time (30+ hours) in classrooms ranging from general inclusion to intensive autism settings. Your role will include providing vital assistance to both students and teachers, fostering a supportive and engaging atmosphere where all learners can thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, preferably in elementary education Comfort working within both inclusion classrooms and specialized autism programs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to assist with academic, behavioral, and social needs under teacher direction Compassionate approach and adaptive mindset Commitment to maintaining a safe, nurturing learning space

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students, whether 1:1 or in small groups, to reinforce learning and social skills Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and classroom management Facilitate student engagement with curriculum and classroom routines Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Support positive behavior by modeling appropriate social interactions and interventions as needed Assist students with daily activities, adapting to their unique needs This contract position offers a meaningful chance to positively impact the lives of students while collaborating with educators passionate about inclusive and autism-focused education.
