Key Qualifications:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school or educational setting Proven background supporting positive behavior in students, particularly in challenging classroom environments Ability to collaborate with lead teachers to implement classroom management strategies Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills with children in early elementary grades (K-2) Reliability and commitment to routine, with consistent availability from 7:30am to 2:45pm, following the school schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small-group support to students, helping reinforce instructional activities and classroom routines Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans under the guidance of certified staff Support classroom organization and provide redirection proactively to maintain a positive learning space Foster a safe and engaging environment while building positive relationships with students and colleagues Help with student transitions, classroom activities, and accommodations as needed This role is ideal for those drawn to the energy and excitement of early education.
