Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role providing essential support to students as a contract Paraprofessional in a dynamic educational setting. In this position, you'll have the chance to make a real difference by working one-on-one with a student needing individualized assistance, with a focus on social and emotional development. This assignment follows the school calendar, running from now through the last day of classes, Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break.

Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support position is highly valued Comfortable and compassionate working directly with students who may need social or emotional support Ability to provide personal care, including toileting and diapering as needed Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills Capable of collaborating effectively with teachers and special education teams

What You'll Be Doing:

Offering one-on-one support to a student across settings (K-18); age to be determined Reinforcing positive social and emotional behaviors and implementing behavior intervention strategies when required Assisting with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering when needed Following specific guidelines from teachers and therapists to advance student goals Supporting classroom activities and modifying materials to help the student access instruction Maintaining documentation and providing feedback to the educational team about student progress This contract assignment offers 33.75 paid hours each week, providing valuable experience and the reward of positive impact in a student's life.
