Required Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role in a school setting Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff Adaptability and patience to meet diverse student needs Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What You'll Do:
Work one-on-one with a designated student to provide tailored academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support Implement instructional strategies as directed by classroom teachers and specialists Assist with daily classroom activities and ensure student involvement Support the student during transitions, specials, and unstructured times throughout the school day Observe and document student progress, reporting observations to the educational team Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student confidence and independence Experience the satisfaction of seeing your direct influence in a student's daily successes.
