Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at Clinton Elementary School as a Classroom Paraprofessional. This full-time position is designed for someone who is committed to supporting students and teachers in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities Assist teachers in the delivery of instructional activities and lesson plans. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments. Monitor and document student progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the teacher. Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning. Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-classroom activities. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required. Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and personal information. Assist with classroom management and behavior interventions as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a paraprofessional license (See link below on info how to obtain your license through ROE#17) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. Proficiency in basic computer skills. Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges if necessary.
