  • Position Summary
  • This division is home to the following: Physical Therapist Assistant Program \ MCC instructors are higher-education professionals who champion student learning.
They engage and inspire students, applying innovative teaching and learning pedagogies in instruction. They assess student learning to ensure students success, staying abreast of trends in the discipline. Our instructors collaborate within the College as discipline experts, helping the College reach its strategic goals through active participation in college committees and by promoting the College to future students throughout our community.\
  • Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Including but are not limited to: Teaching courses as assigned by the College Available to teach daytime, evening, and weekend classes, as needed Available for student conferences either before or after class, and by college email or special appointment if necessary Participate with producing documentation relating to program accreditation standards to achieve and maintain accreditation Work cooperatively within the department, the division, and throughout the College in striving for educational excellence Keep appraised of external agency regulations and changes to regulations that directly impact a particular curriculum Assess student learning and participate in assessment of the PTA program Continue professional development in area of contemporary clinical expertise and in teaching/learning strategies Maintain and submit accurate student and course-related paperwork and data needed for college and grant purposes in a timely fashion Maintain and submit accurate attendance records.
