Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a related school support role preferred Familiarity with supporting students with a range of learning or behavioral needs Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Dependable, patient, adaptable, and committed to fostering student growth High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing lesson content and accommodations Help manage classroom behavior and facilitate a positive learning atmosphere Support students with physical, emotional, or learning challenges as directed Assist with classroom organization, material preparation, and record-keeping Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students to meet educational objectives
