To further our mission, we are currently seeking a Part-time Elementary Instructional Aide to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Part-time Elementary Instructional Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our
K-6 MTSS
(Multi-Tiered System of Supports) program. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with classroom teachers to assist in meeting the diverse learning needs of our students. Your primary role will be to engage with small groups of students to provide targeted learning support and help them achieve their academic goals in reading and math.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with classroom teachers around resources and materials for small group instruction. Conduct small group instruction sessions to reinforce and enhance students' understanding of academic subjects. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with teachers. Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications:
Paraprofessional license or teaching certification Experience working with elementary school-aged children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members. Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each student. Knowledge of MTSS and educational best practices is preferred but not required. Strong commitment to Christian values and the ability to integrate them into daily interactions and activities.
