A Teacher's Aide will assist the teacher in a variety of duties that may include but are not limited to: Organizing classroom materials Making copies Preparing materials for art projects Collecting and organizing materials for Wednesday's Brown envelope and any returning correspondence Working with students that may need individual help Helping in the classroom during instructional periods Monitoring students during breaks, library, gym, and computer times Accompany class on field trips Take care of classroom At times an aide may be requested to help out in a lunchroom or help with a special project outside of the regular classroom. Kindergarten Preschool aides do supervise and monitor K and PreK lunchroom. This position has an hourly range of $15.50-$16.50. An employee's pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
