Job Description

KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Glenview Knowledge Beginnings center. In this role, you'll support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with age-appropriate learning activities, supervising children, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and reinforcing health and safety standards. You'll build positive relationships with children and families while working in a collaborative, inclusive culture that values growth and offers opportunities for career advancement in early childhood education. Responsibilities Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines. Supervise and ensure safety of children at all times. Assist in preparing and implementing age-appropriate learning activities. Maintain clean, organized, and engaging classroom environments. Support positive behavior and social-emotional development. Communicate warmly and professionally with children and families. Follow health, safety, and center policies and procedures. Collaborate with teaching team and center staff.
