Make a positive impact supporting elementary students as a full-time paraprofessional in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide 1:1 instructional support while also assisting other students when needed. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

What you need to succeed:

Active Illinois Para License required Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar support role in schools Flexible and adaptable when working with students across various grade levels Comfortable supporting students with behavioral needs Willingness to assist with toileting and personal care tasks as needed Commitment to professional conduct and a clean background check Able to reliably commute to the school site each day Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 instructional and behavioral support within an elementary classroom program Assisting other students as directed by classroom teachers or school staff Supporting students across different grade levels, responding to unique learning and care needs Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment Collaborating with classroom teachers and support personnel to enhance student success Upholding confidentiality, respect, and professionalism at all times This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for students in a supportive school setting, working as part of a committed educational team.
