KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Plainfield center to support high-quality early childhood education and care. In this role, you'll work closely with lead teachers to implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that nurture children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with lessons and play, supporting daily routines, and maintaining a safe, clean, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Support implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans and learning centers Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment Help with meals, diapering, toileting, and hygiene as needed Maintain a clean, organized classroom and learning materials Communicate positively with children, families, and team members Follow Kinder Care policies and state licensing regulations Participate in training and professional development opportunities Required Skills Classroom support Child supervision Early childhood education practices Lesson and activity assistance Behavior management Health, safety, and hygiene procedures Parent and family communication basics Collaboration and teamwork Record keeping and documentation basics Time management
