Job Description

Position Overview:
This position is a part-time instructional support role focused on assisting special education teachers and supporting students with diverse learning needs. The instructional assistant will work closely with staff to help implement Individualized Education Plans and provide targeted support to ensure student success.
Rate of Pay:
Starting at $13.80/hour (or based on experience), 28.75 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Support students in both general education and special education settings. Assist with the implementation of IEP's under the direction of certified staff. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce academic skills and concepts. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to meet student needs. Supervise students as assigned (classroom, hallway, or other school settings). Perform other duties as assigned by special education staff or administration.
Qualifications:
o High school diploma required. o Demonstrated passion for working with students and supporting their growth. o Ability to work effectively as part of a team; strong communication skills. o Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered mindset. o Must be able to pass a background check.
